Welcome to this masterpiece I have created. My name is Ali Meftah and I’ll show you around this site. While I’m at it, I’ll also tell you why I made this website. Well after checking out this guide, you need to check out the Rules if you are to leave comments. Then look at any recent changes via the Announcements post especially if you wanna be a regular here. Although this place isn’t forum based yet, you can still be a regular here. Just check this place out once every month at least please; anything new and exciting can happen. Before you do leave please leave a comment in the Guestbook. But make sure it complies with the Rules.

Hopefully in the second year of my website, a new project shall be made. When completed, this will show you what me and my best mate can really do! To finish off though, I will also mention why I made this website. Firstly I did it for fun. Secondly I did it to promote any projects that’ll do well. And finally it was my 1st major website I made with the option to convert into a forum and download themes. Justified isn’t it? That’s all for now, so peace out! :D

Rules

Since “Gareth” and “David” messed up everything, I have to lay down some rules. This has fallen out of my control so I must be harsh in order for fairness. I run this site so don’t piss me off by breaking the following rules:

1. Using aliases is perfectly fine to cover your identity. However I will get pissed off if the same person is trying to make me think it’s other people. So don’t do it!

2. Leaving stupid comments angers me unless you were trying to be funny. Any stupid comments that aren’t a joke will NOT BE TOLERATED!

3. Spamming is definitely a no-no.

4a. This rule is the most important. If you mascurade as a stranger and compliment me on my hobbies which only my family and friends know, you’ve really pushed me too far.

4b. However, if you take that further and pretend to pass on a love message from one of my female mates, I will think you are a stalker and block you from leaving comments.

5. There is nothing to stop you expressing your opinion. However if you flame or assault me verbally I will delete your comment, no questions asked! If you flame or verbally assault others I will delete the comment because this is not a battlefield or a “cussing arena”!

6. Don’t, I REPEAT DON’T ADVERTISE YOUR SITE HERE! Do it in other places like Google or something like that. It’s bad enough I have to study hard and monitor this site without other people “robbing” me of hits.

In fact I have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy now. It started from the 7th May 2006 and will always be here as long as this site is alive. So if you want me to be lenient and happy then obey these rules. That is all.

Time has passed and now very little time stands between this site and its inevitable destruction. However when I do destroy this site, another may rise from the ashes. This “newborn” site will be entirely hand-coded so that I can maintain it more easily. Also it feels more satisfying when I do something for myself; most of the coding for this website was part of a package.

With this new knowledge I can really build a decent website; check out Phoenix Circus School if you want to see my hand-coded website in action!

However, I will wait a few years because I have no purpose for my future website; I do not want it to end up like this website, a meaningless set of pages with nothing for the user… I have WASTED MY LIFE on this website; I will never be able to design a good one… :( It just makes me cry writing this… :(

9 months left until I say goodbye to this meaningless site. I wish it could die sooner, however I’ll try to add something decent to this site if I can. Those who do decide to come here, please add some suggestions, you wouldn’t like it if I ignored your website on purpose would ya? As for other news, I’ve changed my mind about Bebo, but Myspace I will leave soon. YouTube I’ll stay with since it’s a good place to watch videos and rate others until I have my own camera.

This site has 10 months to live and I REALLY mean it this time when I intend to close this website down. Each month I’ll just post a countdown saying how long this site has got.

I didn’t want it to be this way, I didn’t want to make a website and get nothing out of it. Sure my HTML and CSS knowledge has improved as a result, but anyone can do that! The original purpose of this dying website is to give decent quality products at good prices or be popular. Unfortunately this achieves neither so I’m saving myself heartache and putting a gun to this site. By the way, my Bebo and MySpace accounts are going down also, they’re just “friendship sites” and I suck at making friends. My YouTube account may follow suit but not yet…

My advice to you is, if you make a website, please have a well thought out purpose, don’t make a site for nothing and become unpopular like me. Select a purpose (search engine, art forum e.t.c) and implement it well. Then you’ll hit fame! Unlike this meaningless website…

Topic Of The Month selection has been deleted since there was no point of keeping it. Why keep something that has been disregarded? Anyway this site has another life, another year so some decent changes shall be made. You’ll find out more when I’ve done those changes…

Since I’m studying Computing for A Level, I’ll add some executionable files so you can see the algorithms I can make via Delphi.

I’m back from holiday, I had one hell of a time! This website has been checked by me and I wasn’t too amused when I found out that some crazy German littered my website with messages like “Can you travel with a menu?” or some random crap like that (I’ve studied German for 4 years, I’m NOT thick!) . You guys are lucky that I haven’t banned comments yet, so PLEASE keep it that way! Just stick to my rules, they’re not too hard to obey!

On another note, since I’ve agreed to give this site another year, old topics and nasty comments will be cleared up. However the Hall Of Shame will be around for commedy and to show examples of unacceptable comments. Since this site may have only another year (this site is well expensive to run!) I’ll try to make another project so that this site can fufill its purpose; to sell high quality products at cheap prices. I now have my own Paypal account so financial issues can be resolved!

I’m going on holiday in 5 days time, so feel free to look around while I’m not here. However if you guys have a problem with each other, sort it out amoungst yourselves! I just want to relax and when I come back, I don’t want to see any nasty comments, OK? Peace out dudes! ;)

I’ve done my exams; the last one being the 23rd of June 2006. So now this site will receive more updates until “Judgement Month”, which is September. If I feel like keeping this site going for another year from September, then rejoice, otherwise weep if the worst happens.

By the way Stunts Of The Extreme is available; I lifted the cancellation since I felt generous. Until we announce another project, why cancel what I’ve got? Besides if you’re still worried about your money I could sort out payments with my cousin’s Ebay account, if you want to purchase it that is. :D

New rules have been added. Please don’t leave outrageous comments, otherwise I will just ignore and delete the offending comment. No more “Hall Of Shame” entries will be added, I need the space for other things that are vital to this site being a success. If this site is still here in September I may publish the statistics of all hits I’ve received so far.

Work on this website has stopped from now until I finish my exams. Apologies if you wanted to see more from me but my future is more important than maintaining a website so just check out what I have at the moment. To all supporters and just random people who look at this place…thanks, you guys helped this site when it was on its last legs. :D
